Fine Lion at Anchor in the Exumas !!!

Welcome aboard!

OK...how about round two of "Living the Dream"...

We left Oriental, NC on October 31, 2008. We will be going back to the Bahamas again. We love it there! The "plan" is to be in the Bahamas by the end of November. We hope the weather will cooperate. If not, we'll just be a little later...but that's what cruising is all about.

You can tell we are avoiding cold weather. It's great not winterizing Fine Lion. We can tell she's real happy.

This summer was the summer of Doctors and boat improvements. The biggest improvement on Fine Lion was the new watermaker. This will be great in the Bahamas. Water is a little difficult to get aboard. Obviously, I'm talking about fresh water. The watermaker is a Reverse Osmosis device that makes 8.3 gal/hr. That means lots more freedom for Fine Lion. We won't be looking for our next water station like last year.

Again, we are looking forward to getting to the Bahamas. Just like last year, diving and snorkeling are at the top of our list. We will try to keep this site up to date, but it won't be easy...especially with all the fun we will be having. This is our way of staying in touch with family and friends.
Be sure to check out the pictures!

Kim has committed to doing a whole lot more of the log entries this year. I'm sure you'll enjoy her perspective much more than mine. I look forward to her logs...it'll be fun!

You'll need to check out the log section to read about the most current parts of our ventures. It is our goal to make you envious, and to share our dream coming true.

Remember:
